Will this work with my phone?

Does your phone support wireless charging? If so, then yes! Basically, if you have an iPhone 8 or newer, or a Samsung S7 or newer, it will work beautifully. Welcome to the future.

Will this work with my phone case?

Is your phone case “wireless charger compatible”, or does it work with other wireless chargers? Then, yes, it will work with a Nato Mount Wireless Charger.

Why is wireless charging slower than regular cable charging?

Nato Mount Wireless chargers are classified as Fast Wireless Chargers. HOWEVER, wireless charging is all about convenience, it is not about efficient or quick charging. Any wireless charger is going have a charge time significantly slower than a cable, no matter the wireless charger and device. We do not recommend you use a wireless charger if you need super quick charge time. In contrast, we believe that if you have a Nato Mount Wireless Charger wherever you mount or set your device, then you will always be at 100% charge. This includes your work desk or bench, kitchen counter, bed-side, and car.

Where do I put the metal ring plate on the back of my phone?

Great question! It is very important that you place the metal ring in the right location, otherwise, the wireless coils will not line up with the mount and not charge as fast, if at all. Check your original packaging for included templates that you can place on the back of your device, to line up the proper location for the ring.

Will the metal ring interfere with other wireless chargers?

No, it will not, if installed in the correct location on the back of the device. Please use the template included in the box to help you install the metal ring correctly.

Can I use another power brick with my wireless charger?

We include a Quick Charge 3.0 power brick for both the car and home, with every package. However, if for some reason you want to use your own, we recommend that you do not use the standard Apple 5 Watt brick, as it will not charge your device at the full 7-10 Watts required for wireless charging. If you have a power brick which supports QC 3.0 then use that.

How do I install my wireless charger and use it?

Can I use a non-wireless charging device on the Nato Mount Wireless Charger?

Yes, no worries, the mount will work perfectly and not attempt to charge the device. Wireless Charging technology is safe, as it requires both the mount and device to have wireless charging coils before it attempts to send a charge.

How to Install Your Nato Privacy Screen

Instructions

  • Clean screen with cloth and wipes provided. Remove any lint or dust with dust removal sticker. Any lint on screen will create bubbles.

  • Align privacy film on top of display portion (turn on display to help). Apply guide stickers to secure film on phone: half of each sticker on film & other half on phone to create a swinging hinge.

  • Swing film away from screen to expose the underside. Remove tab #1 to expose sticky layer.

  • Slowly swing film back onto screen. Starting from the edges, press the sticky side onto the screen.

  • Use Smoothing Card to gently push bubbles toward the nearest edge. Remove tab #2. NOTE: If bubbles remain, peel off film and try again.
